Lawyer Referral
Service: a statewide service which provides referral
to attorneys based upon the client's legal needs. The referral fee is $25 which
includes a half hour consultation with the attorney. You are not obligated to
hire the attorney, but if you choose to hire the attorney, it will be at the

Reduced Fee Referral Program of the NH Bar Association:
a statewide service
which provides referrals to attorneys who provide legal assistance at a reduced
fee. You are not obligated to hire an attorney, but if you choose to do so,
it will be a reduced rate over the attorney's regularly charged rate. 603.715.3290

Legal Advice and Referral Center
(LARC):
a statewide private non-profit organization which assists clients primarily
in the areas of family law, landlord tenant/housing issues, public benefits
and consumer issues. LARC operates a "hotline" from 9-1 Monday through
Friday where trained advocates provide assistance to those who are financially

Pro Bono Program: a state wide public service program of the NH Bar Association.
Pro Bono handles civil matters in many areas of the law:family, collection defense,
bankruptcies, guardianship, landlord tenant matters, state and local welfare.
Pro Bono does not handle fee generating cases, criminal matters or traffic violations.
Eligibility for pro bono services is based upon financial and case type guidelines.

Lawline: a statewide public service program of the New Hampshire Bar
Association. The service is available on the second Wednesday of every month
from 7pm until 9pm. The lawline telephones are staffed by attorneys who provide
free legal advice to any caller. There are no income guides for the Lawline
