Thank you for Joining us for one Last Kelly Mann 5K Run/3K Walk!
In July of 2004, Kelly Mann was brutally murdered by her husband in her Nashua home while her three young children listened in a nearby room. On that day, Kelly’s three young daughters; Ashley (12), Lauren (8), and Kathryn (1) were forced to experience trauma that has influenced their lives forever. This tragedy happened in our community, and it is not an isolated incident.
While 2023 marks the final Kelly Mann Memorial 5K Run & 3K Walk which was created in 2006 when Ashley and Lauren approached Bridges with the idea of hosting a fundraiser in memory of their mother, we’re proud to say that this this event has raised over $300,000 for Bridges as we provide free, confidential services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
As we look toward the future, we’re reimagining what it means to honor Kelly’s legacy by creating the Kelly Mann Memorial Scholarship Fund which will grant an annual scholarship to a Bridges’ client to further their education. Kelly loved her kids, the community, and bettering herself and her family through educational opportunities, making the creation of this fund a natural next step in celebrating her.
